The Spring Festival is the Chinese New Year's Day. It usually comes from January or February. This year it is February 1st. It is (important) of all the festivals in China. All of the Chinese like this festival. Before it comes people are busy (clean) the houses. On the eve of Spring Festival(除夕), the family come home from other places. They get together and have big meal. They eat dumplings and some other nice food in (they) homes. Usually all the family (member) help make dumplings together at home. Some families have a party at night. They sing, dance and have a good time.
The night is relaxing interesting.
The Chinese word for Ox (牛) is pronounced (读音)"Niu".It (sound) new" in English. So we say ""Happy Niu Year" last Spring Fetival We don't say "Happy Niu Year" to them this year. As we know, it's time (say) goodbye to the Year of the Ox and welcome the Year of the Tiger.
