It was 6: 00 pm. Mr Miller was driving to No. 9 Middle School to pick up his son, Bob. Then he was in trouble. Kate, a girl from the school, was walking home. She likes 1 stories on the phone when walking. Bad habit! The story was so interesting that she didn't 2the traffic lights turn red.
Mr Miller drove fast, 3 school was over at 5:30 pm. He was already 4. Bob called and Mr Miller tried to 5the phone. He didn't see Kate crossing the road. His car 6 her. Kate was lying on the road. Her leg was broken, and she lost a lot of blood. Mr Miller hurt his arms.
Another car 7 right away. A man and a woman got off. They bandaged Kate and helped Mr Miller out of the 8. Then they called 120 and the doctors came9 . They took the two to the 10 and they were fine in the end.
"No phones on the road again!" Kate's parents told her.
"No phones when driving!" Mr Miller told himself.
