A group of boys stand around a big tree. "What a tall tree it is!" They say to each other. "It will be cool1 to the top of the tree!"
So they decide to play a game to see who 2climb to the top first. Everyone is excited.
Their mothers are sitting not far away, looking at 3 as they play.
One of the children named David is 4 8-year-old boy. He is the youngest and shortest child in the group. Nobody 5 he will win.
Then the game starts. All of the boys try to climb as fast as they can. The other boys climb faster than David in the beginning, 6 David reaches the top fastest and get the first place at last.
His mother is really happy. "David, how do you get to the top of the tree so7 ?" One of the other mothers asks him.
"It is very 8," David says. "The other children keep looking down when they are climbing. When they know how high they are, they are afraid of 9 down. However, I only look up. When I see how close I am, I keep going until I win the game. "
It is true in life that we must keep moving forward 10 looking back.
