Catherine Maynard, who works with the Cycle Response Unit, said that she had been waiting for an ambulance with her patient 4 a man who resembled the Manchester United great walked by.
"I was waiting with my patient for an ambulance to 5 him to hospital and although I was keeping him warm, it was very cold outside," she told the Evening Standard newspaper.
"All of a sudden, I looked up and 6 someone who looked like David Beckham walking past us. He said hello and got into his car 7 . I said to the man I was treating, ‘I think that was David Beckham.' A few moments later, he came back with a cup of 8for me and a tea for the patient. It was 9 cycling around in the cold today and I couldn't believe it when he came back with some hot drinks—I was so pleased," she 10 to the newspaper.
The father-of-four's actions were then 11 on the London Ambulance services Twitter with the organization thanking the star for his 12 and encouraging others by David's offering to buy their 13 crews a tea or coffee.
