There were lots of great (英雄) in Chinese history. (可能，也许) we all know the story of Hua Mulan. She lived about 1,600 years ago. Her father was a soldier. One day, the king wanted (派遣) Mulan's father to take part in wars, but he was very old and (虛弱的). Mulan loved her father, so she dressed in men's clothes, rode a horse and went to (战斗，打仗).
Mulan was very (聪明的) and brave, and she gotalot of (奖赏) in wars. All the soldiers were proud ofher, but (没有一人) of them knew she was a woman. The wars (持续) many years and stopped. The king asked her to be one of the top soldiers. (然而)，she refused and went home to live with her family.
