When I was on my first day of Grade Nine, everyone was so fresh to me, especially my teacher, Mrs. Barrow. As the year passed by, many classmates and I became good friends. However, I still not close to Mrs. Barrow.
Mrs. Barrow advised us to an article on what we wanted to be when we grew up. Some kids asked why. She explained that when her former students graduated, she liked them to come back and share their dreams in the grade together. Then, my grandmother died of a(n). I missed some classes because I needed to go home.
After attending(出席)the funeral(葬礼), I returned to school. The teacher comforted me and me a card. She wrote some warm on it, " Many people would come to us and leave, but they may bring us love and kindness. When we live without them, we should keep the moments in mind, because they encourage us to show warmth to others. "I also saw a picture of ivy plant(常青藤) which was my favorite plant. I was moved to cry.
The card was taken home and was put in my bedroom. I am in senior high school now and I still keep that gift. Anyone who has such a teacher in their life is , even for a short while. She may not know it, but she means a lot to . She is much more than a teacher—she is like a mother to me. She showed me her warmth and kindness, so I also learned to show warmth and kindness to others.
