The year 2021 was an unforgettable one for people in Zhengzhou.
On July 20, when most people were ready to go traveling, shopping or to the movies, , a sudden rainstorm in my hometown of Zhengzhou disrupted everything. The heavy rain lasted several days, causing massive floods. When the rain stopped, I went to the community volunteer service station to see if was anything I could help with. From 2 to 7 pm each day, I loaded and unloaded supplies（物资）that would be sent to flooded areas to help those suffered from the natural disaster. Everyone exhausted but no one complained or stopped. When we put on the red vests（背心）and stood together, I could even see the shape of a big Chinese heart.
I think is necessary to take on social responsibilities to make more contributions to my community as a citizen（公民）.
