There wasn't much food in the house, but Shirley still made a cake, because her husband David's was coming. Her three children spent the afternoon a wonderful birthday card for their father. They loved very much.
When everything was ready the children waited for their father to get home. Soon, they heard him coming. he came in, they all jumped up and gave him the birthday . Then they began to sing Happy Birthday song . David was moved(感动) by what they did.
"Please, make a wish now. said one of the boys. David closed his eyes. After that, the children asked him what he wished for.
David looked at his family. He knew his wife worked very hard the family. The birthday card from the children was better than any other thing from the shop. He knew that he was very lucky to have family like this.
"You are persons in my life. "I wished that every father in the world could have a family as wonderful as mine."
