Tu Youyou is a famous female scientist. She was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province on December 30th, 1930. In 1951, she began to study in Peking University. She learnt to make medicine. She graduated(毕业)in 1955. She found a cure for malaria(疟疾) and saved the lives of millions.
She won many big prizes. She won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine(诺贝尔生理学或医学奖） on October 5th, 2015. She is the first Chinese woman to win the Nobel Prize. She won the Medal of the Republic(共和国勋章)in 2019, because she made great contributions to the development of the PRC. Tu Youyou is so great!
