Last weekend, my mother said, "Let's buy some new clothes for you. "I was very happy and surprised because my family didn't have much money at that time. She took me to the clothes shop and bought me three dresses: a pink one, a purple one, a white and blue one. I loved that white and blue dress best.
Lucy was my best friend. She lived across from my house. I couldn't wait to show my beautiful dresses to her as soon as I got home. She loved all of them and was happy for me. But she also felt sad because her mother could buy her new clothes only on her birthday. So I asked her to pick one. Then she picked my favourite one—the white and blue dress! I felt a little sad at that time.
She wore the new dress and I saw her smiling. Her big smile was so beautiful. I could feel her joy! So I told her it looked nice on her and gave it to her. When I told my mother about the dress, she touched my head and smiled, "I understand. You're always my good little girl!"
I shared my dress with my friend, and she shared her happiness with me. That's friendship. And we are still best friends today!
