Luzhun is one of the greatest writers of modern China.<br />He was born in September 1881 in Xiaoxing, Zizhang province.<br />At first Luzhun wanted to help the Chinese people become healthy and strong, so he went<br />to Japan to learn to be a doctor in 1906.<br />One year later he changed his mind and started to write.<br />He hoped to teach people about society through reading his novels.<br />In 1909 Liu returned to China and taught at a high school.<br />He wrote many short stories and one of his most famous novels is The True Story of Aqiu.<br />It describes the hard life of Aqiu and makes people think more about the society.<br />Luzhun died in Shanghai at the age of 55.<br />Now people still like to read his novels.
