Most of the players are from the local villages and nearby cities. "We usually play basketball after work. Basketball is a hobby for us," says Wang Shenglong, the captain of the Taipan Team. How can "Cun BA" become popular? Over 20,000 people from many other places come here to enjoy the exciting game. So it's difficult for them to get a seat. That's amazing!" says Su Zhi, a basketball fan from Beijing. It takes him 20 hours to drive from Beijing to Taipan. He thinks watching this game makes him excited.
During the breaks (休息) of the game, people can enjoy the local (当地的) Miao dances and the beautiful singing. Prizes for winners are local special foods like rice, duck and fish. What an interesting game it is! Sun Quan, a 15-year-old boy in Taipan Middle School, likes playing basketball very much. He practices playing basketball every school night with his classmates, because his dream is to play basketball with other players in "Cun BA" one day. Right now, he doesn't do well in it, but his father tells him "Practice makes perfect".
