Khalida Asgarova is a 16-year-old student who wants to become a doctor. She lives in Aghdam in Azerbaijan(阿塞拜疆). She took part in ICRC's first aid training in spring of 2021. One important lesson she learned was that in emergency situations everyone must take care of themselves first before helping others. Since attending the training, Khalida has already helped her friend who hurt his hand with broken glass. She even taught some of the other students who could not attend the training as well as her younger cousins some of the skills she learned.
"The training is important, "Khalida said. "Now we can carry out some of the techniques correctly in different situations.
