When I was in middle school, I was bullied（被欺凌） a lot.There was one boy, let's call him C, who was the main person responsible.Every day for many years, he would say something bad to me and scare me with his words.It was a difficult time in my life, and I felt like there was no way running away from it.
Years passed, and I left school.I had no idea what happened to C, and I didn't care either.I just wanted to move on with my normal life and forgot about what happened.
One day, when I was 26 years old, I was walking to the supermarket.All of a sudden, I saw C. ▲ .I couldn't believe my eyes.He looked at me, trying to figure out.who I was.Then, he asked me if I was who he thought I was.I told him that I was exactly who he thought I was.
To my surprise, C apologized.It was the most honest and heartfelt apology I had ever heard.He didn't have to say anything.He could have just pretended not to notice me and walked away.But he stopped me and apologized.I could hear the shame in his voice for what he had done to me in the past.
At that moment, I forgave him right away.All the hatred（憎恨） and anger I had carried for years was gone in a second.It was a completely unexpected and life-changing moment for me.That experience gave me hope in the goodness of people and made the rest of my day truly amazing.
