    Once upon a time, there was a king and he was bad to his people. So nobody liked him. 

    One hot day, the king went to swim by himself in a river. Suddenly(突然) he didn't feel comfortable and couldn't move his hands or legs. He began to drown.

    Luckily, two farmers were working on the farm near the river and saw everything. Of course, the farmers didn't know the man in the river was the bad king. So the two farmers jumped into the river and saved him.

    The king thanked the farmers and said, "I'm the king of the country. Ask me for anything, and I will give it to you. "

    "My mother and father are sick (生病的) in bed," the first farmer said. "Can you give me some money to send them to a doctor?" The king answered, "It's easy. "

    Then he turned to the second farmer and asked, "How about you? What do you want?" The farmer looked worried and unhappy. "Don't let other people know I saved you. " he answered.
