Row, row, row the boat!
This year's Dragon Boat Festival falls on June 22. People celebrate the day to remember the famous poet Qu Yuan. He lived 2000 years ago. He threw himself into a river（投江自尽） for his kingdom. People rowed boats into the river and looked for him.
Dragon Boat races are popular （流行的） in southern China. In Guangzhou, some dragon boats are hundreds of years old. There is a boat named Renwei. It is over 400 years old. People clean and repair it every year before the race.
