A Day at the Beach

Last weekend, my family and I went to the beach. The weather was nice with clear blue sky. We brought our beach towels (沙滩毛巾) and a picnic lunch. We spent the morning building sandcastles and collecting seashells. I found a beautiful, colourful seashell. After playing in the sand, we went for a swim in the cool water. The waves were gentle, and it was so much fun. For lunch, we had sandwiches, fruit and cold lemonade. We sat under a big beach umbrella and enjoyed our meal. In the afternoon, we flew a colourful kite. The wind was just right for flying it high in the sky. As the sun began to go down, we packed up and went back home. It was a wonderful day at the beach, and I can' wait to go back again soon!
