Earth Day is on April 22nd. It is a day to learn about, and remember, the importance<br />of protecting the environment. People around the world will do some activities. Mary, Peter<br />and Lisa plan to do something on Earth Day. Mary is a 12 year old girl from China. She<br />plans to do some cleaning in the park near her home on that day. Peter is one year older<br />than Mary. He comes from Japan. He will take part in a planting tree project in his hometown.<br />Lisa is the youngest among the three students. She is only 10 years old and she is from Canada.<br />She is going to pick up some rubbish in public. She also plans to warn people not to smoke<br />in public.
