Colourful fruits and vegetables are good for our health. Their colours help us keep healthy. Close your eyes and think about the colours of the food: the orange of carrots, the green of cabbages(卷心菜) and the red of tomatoes.
You can enjoy eating fruits and vegetables of all colours: green, yellow, red, blue, white and purple. They work together to protect(保护) our body.
The list below shows how the colours work:
*Green help prevent cancer(防癌). It is good for our eyes too. It also gives you strong bones(骨头) and teeth.
*Blue and purple help us remember things well.
*Red gives us healthy hearts.

* White can keep cholesterol(胆固醇) at a low level.
