Lisa is a student in Grade Seven. She is talking with her friends online.
Bill | Hey, guys. I'm not happy today. I like sports and I play basketball every Sunday. But my parents want me to do homework on weekends, so I can't play basketball. I also like playing computer games, but my parents think it's bad. |
Kate | Sorry to hear that, Bill. But computer games are not good for you. I don't like my weekends. My father is a doctor and my mother is a pharmacist. They are both very busy. So I usually do housework on weekends and I never have time to play. |
Tony | Poor Kate! I enjoy watching TV and I want to do it every day. But my parents are not happy about that. So I can only watch for 30 minutes on Sunday. |
Lisa | Parents seem like that. My parents never let me watch TV or play computer games! On weekdays, they always want me to study almost every minute. But they let me have a break on Saturday. They take me to watch movies, swim or go shopping. And on Sunday I can play with my friends after I finish my homework. Sometimes they are really good! |
