Jahkil Jackson is an American boy. He is 16 years old. He and his parents live in Chicago. The boy often helps the homeless(无家可归的人) with his aunt and his cousins.
When he was 8 years old, he found the homeless had no houses but he did. So he said to his parents that he wanted to help the homeless to get big houses. But his parents said it's difficult for him to do that. So he needed to think of something different. He had healthy food and nice clothes, but the homeless didn't. He wanted to get money to buy clothes and food for them. His aunt and his cousins thought it's great to do that and helped him to get some money. They started Project I Am.
The homeless can get bags with food and clothes from Project I Am every week. "It's not easy to do that, " Jahkil Jackson says. "But I think it's great to help them. "
