One day，I stole 50 cents from my father's room because I wanted to buy a scarf. But my father found that right away.
"Who stole the money?"he asked my brother and me. I was too afraid to talk and my brother said nothing，either. So my father said，"Since nobody wants to admit（承认），you both should be punished!"Suddenly，my younger brother said，"Dad，I stole it!"He took the punishment，for me. That year，my brother was 8 years old.
Several years later，we were accepted into university. But my parents couldn't pay for both of us. My brother said，"Dad，I don't want to study any more. "Father became angry，"Even if I have to beg（乞讨）for money，I will send you two to school!"
The next day，my brother left the house，leaving a note on my bed，"Sister，getting into a university is not easy. I will go to find a job and send money to you. "I held the note，and cried. That year，my brother was 17 years old and I was 20 years old.
During my brother's wedding reception（婚礼）with a farmer girl，someone asked him，"Who is the person you respect（尊敬）and love most?"
Without thinking twice，he answered，"My sister. When we were in primary school，one day，I lost one of my gloves. My sister gave hers to me. When we got home，her hands were shaking because of the cold weather. From that day on，I promised that as long as I lived，I would always take good care of her. "
All guests turned to me. And then，tears（眼泪）were running down my face again.
