Registrations and renewals are available to those who would like to visit the CambridgeUniversity Library in person.
Your library membership
Current students of University of Cambridge:
All new students at Cambridge are automatically registered at the university library. Your blue university card can be used to access the library and borrow books.
Current University of Cambridge staff and visitors:
You may need to bring some supporting documentation on your first visit, see"Eligibility"for full details. If you are unsure if your card is activated or have other enquiries about your library membership, contactusbyemailonregistration@lib.cam.ac.ukorcall01223 333030.
Alumni and other library users:
Register or renew your university library membership.
Register as a study school user.
When your card has been processed, you will be contacted by email with confirmation. This is usually within 3 working days.
Who can use the library?
Everyone over 16 can use the library, with the exception of intermitting(中断) students.
This page outlines the documentation required to register for a library account. Most current staff and students of the University of Cambridge will be registered automatically. All other users should register online in advance of their visit. Registration enquiries can be sent to the same e-mail box—registration@lib.cam.ac.uk .
Young people aged 16 and 17 must submit or bring a signed permission form from their guardians.
