We have many new subjects this term. I like biology best because my hobby is collecting insects (昆虫). They are interesting, and they can be very beautiful. I find insects in many different places, such as the yard around my house or the park near my school. When I see a new insect, I put it in a glass bottle, look at it very carefully. If it's small, I use a magnifying glass (放大镜). Then I try to find out what kind of insect it is. I have a lot of books about insects to help me.
After that, I draw a picture of it in my notebook. I also write down its name, the date and where I found it. Finally, I take it back to the same place and let it go. I want to set it free. Some day, I want to be an entomologist (昆虫学家). That's a person who studies insects. I believe my dream will come true one day!
