Before the Shenzhou XV crew(全体工作人员)came back to the earth after spending 186 days on China's space station, they sent a letter to the earth. It was to 16-year-old Tsering Dargye.
Tsering is from Lhokha, Tibet, and is studying at Beijing No.80 High School. Over 10,000 people sent letters to the crew, but Tsering was the only one to have an answer back. "I was very excited and was lucky enough to get the letter. I want to thank China National Space Administration for giving me the opportunity to write the letter," he said.
In his letter, Tsering showed his strong interest in the sky. When he was a child, his grandfather told him stories about it. In 2021, he moved from Tibet, the place closest to the sky on the earth, to Beijing, the place closest to the heart of China's aerospace industry(航空航天工业).
The astronaut Fei Junlong wrote the letter to Tsering and encouraged him a lot. "As you wrote in your letter, the road to success is never smooth. Only by working hard can you make your dreams come true," Fei wrote. He ended the letter by wishing Tsering and his classmates success in their studies.
Tsering is now studying hard. "My dream is to learn computer science at Tsinghua University," he said.
