When I was young, Mother's Day was just as special (特别的) as Christmas.
It was 1 being in the house at this time. And we all expecting(期待) it. Why? Because of my 2 . He made sure that his children showed much 3 for their mother. He asked us to clean the house and make it look 4 and beautiful. He told us to do things for our mother, even very small things like 5 .
Mom didn't have to do anything all day. She could have her breakfast in bed in the morning and just relax. In the afternoon, she could go shopping with her friends and 6 something she likes as gifts. In the evening, we went to a restaurant(餐馆) for a nice Mother's Day 7 .
From 8 , I learned a thing or two about how to love. My father always put my mother first. He loved her and 9 told her so.
You see, it goes both ways. The love you have for your mother comes back to you in a special way one day if you have kids. Sometimes you are not living together(一起), 10 you can still feel close to each other. You will have much love in your heart.
