One morning, Mr Smith drives his car and looks for a small hotel (旅馆).When he sees an old woman, he stops his car and says to her, "I want to go to the Star Hotel. Do you know the way to it?" "Yes," the old woman says. "I'll show you the way." She gets in Mr Smith's car, and they drive about twelve kilometres. When they come to a small house, the woman says, "Stop here." Mr Smith stops and sees the house. "But it isn't a hotel," he says to the old woman. "No," the old woman says. "This is my house, and I'll show you the way to the hotel. Turn around and go back eight kilometers. Then you'll see the hotel."
