Some kind drivers 2 their cars and let the woman cross the road first. 3 , some boys joked about her actions. She didn't get angry. She just laughed off their words and said, "A group of lovely 4 !"
The next day, I happened to see the woman again in the neighborhood. Suddenly, she 5 . I ran to help her stand up. Then she thanked me with a smile and limped(跛行)off.
After a few days, I saw the woman in a 6 . She bought a bag of rice and then carried it on her back. It was not 7 for her to do that because she was thin and she had trouble with her leg. Her body shook when she moved 8 . I walked to her right away. When I told her that I could carry the bag to her house, she was 9 . But she soon recognized(认出)me and 10 my help.
I helped put the bag of rice in the corner 11 we got to her house. Then she invited me to have dinner together. I refused. But I 12 a cup of tea in her home. The woman told me that her children worked in other cities so she 13 solved problems alone in her life. She was quite glad to meet me.
