When I was 18, I went to Colombia to study. On my second day in Bogota, I went out to meet some friends for lunch, but I had the wrong address(地址). I walked around for a long time, but I couldn't find the restaurant.
Soon, I had no idea where I was. I was a little scared, but then I heard music. I followed the sound to a small square(广场). There were a few people dancing. I watched for a little while. Then the dancers invited me to join them! I wasn't very good at it, but I had a great time. When the music ended, I thanked the dancers and started walking. I wasn't frightened at all and I was excited to see more of Bogota.
I went into a small food store across the street. I bought a cake and it was delicious. Almost every day for the next few months, I went to that store. After a few visits, I became friends with the owner and his family. Later, they invited me to their home for dinner.
Getting lost can be an adventure(冒险). Now when I go to a new city, I don't use a map. I follow my heart. When I get lost, I may find a neighborhood store, enjoy beautiful scenery(风景), or best of all, make a new friend.
