Qian Xuesen was born at Hangzhou on December 11, 1911. After graduate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1934, he got a chance to study in the America. When he was 44, he couldn't wait come back to China. In1956, she set up the first research institute (研究所) of rockets and missiles (导弹). "Dongfanghong-I" has been successful sent into the air for 54 years. Once he said, "My first name is Qian, and I don't like money." He was call as "The Father of China's Missiles". Chinese people are proud in him.
