Taking a journey can be a happy thing. However, a journey may go wrong sometimes. I still remember a difficult journey that I took three years ago. I was going to the airport (机场) with my friend. We were going to London on holiday.
My friend and I left home early enough. Usually, (1) it took 40 minutes to go to the airport by car. But it rained hard that day. The heavy rain caused a big traffic jam (交通堵塞). The traffic wasn't moving at all. After ten minutes, the traffic started moving slowly. But we couldn't wait anymore. We decided to find another way to the airport. However, we weren't sure of the way, and we got lost. Finally, we found the right way and arrived at the airport just 40 minutes before the plane was going to leave.(2) 我不得不向机场工作人员求助。Luckily, with the worker's help, we caught our flight (航班) in the end.
