Today I take my 9-year-old daughter Susan and 5-year-old son Robbie to the shopping center. After we get there, we see a big Petting Zoo. In the Petting Zoo, kids can play with many little animals when their parents shop. Surely, they need to pay (付费) to get in.
Susan and Robbie jump up and down and ask. "Daddy, can we go?"
It's not easy for me to pay for my two kids because I am out of work. But I say. "Sure." I give each (每人) of them 2 dollars.
About five minutes later. I see Susan come back to me. "Why don't you play with the little animals?" I ask.
"Daddy, one visit to the Petting Zoo takes 3 dollars. So I give Robbie 1 dollar. I want my brother to have fun with the little animals." she says. "It's also fun to just look at the animals."
What a great sister! I know Susan loves animals very much. So I go back to the Petting Zoo with her. I put my hand into my bag and take out 2 dollars...
