When we hear or read about a traffic (交通) accident, we want to know what caused it. Did the driver (make) a mistake? Or was the accident someone else's mistake? Did a person, dog, or another animal suddenly cross the road? Was it the weather or something else? Often there's more than one thing that causes a traffic accident.
In some traffic accidents, the driver (talk) on the phone when he drove on the street. Maybe he was driving too fast or not following traffic (rule), such as not stopping at a red light. In other accidents, maybe there (be) something wrong with the car. Or the driver (sudden) became sick.
In fact, it's (possible) to have no traffic accidents. So what can we do to have fewer accidents and keep (our) out of danger? First, we should be careful when we drive or ride a bike. (two), we should be sure to use safety equipment (安全设备), like child safety seats. In the event of an accident, safety equipment can (save) lives. Finally, we should take good care of our cars and bikes to make sure they work well. It's true that we can't stop all accidents from (happen). But being careful, following traffic rules, and using safety equipment are things that can help.
