Last weekend, our charity held a charity sale in Dongyang School. It was really 1 because we no only raised enough things but also made more people understand the meaning of helping others.
Students prepared many things for the charity sale. Some brought their 2 such as teddy bears an rabbits while others brought some storybooks. To be honest,3 with their lovely toys was a little hard. One of the students said, "I have 4 a teddy bear for 6 years. My family bought it for me5 my birthday gift. It brought good 6 to me. I gave it away 7 I wanted to pass the feeling of joy to more kids."
In fact, it's not the first time for most of the students to help others. A student told me that his family8 old things from their house twice a year and then gives them away. What's more, the school also holds charity shows and activities each month. When asked why the school does this, the words of a teacher touched me 9 . He said that as a student, it's not the only job to learn knowledge（知识）. In fact, being 10 is more important than being a student with high grades. I really believe if more people could join together to help others, the world will be a better place.
