A Trip to Nanjing

Last weekend，I went to Nanjing to visit my cousin.He is a student at Nanjing University（南京大学）.It was my first time to travel to Nanjing.My cousin showed me around the city.There are many places of interest.

We went to the Confucius Temple on Saturday morning.After lunch，we walked to Laomendong.Laomendong is in the east（东面）of the Zhonghua Gate in Nanjing.That's how it got the name Mendong.

While we were walking around the area，my cousin and I found an interesting shop.It was selling"shaobing".It is a kind of baked bun（烤的圆饼）.Many visitors lined up in front of the shop to buy the freshly baked buns.We bought some and they were very delicious.Then，we went to Deyunshe to watch a crosstalk show（相声）.The performers told many funny jokes.They made us laugh a lot.

I had a wonderful time. I think they are must-sees in Nanjing.
