Friday, March 8th
Today was my birthday. My parents gave me a gift - a trip to London! I travelled to many cities，like New York and Shanghai，but I never （从来没有） went to London before. So it was a big surprise for me.
When we first got there, it was rainy, but we still explored （探索） the city. London had different beauty on rainy days. We walked by the river and visited an art museum. The museum was so big and there were paintings from many countries. We also took a bike ride to the London Eye because we wanted to see the beauty of the city. It was really wonderful. It was cloudy in the afternoon, but we still enjoyed some fantastic （极好的） views. We were really happy! In the evening, we took a bus tour around different parts of the city. There were lots of colourful lights at night. We took some pictures with lights. Then we ate delicious Chinese food in a really nice restaurant. After that, we went home. We were tired but very happy!
