"I feel a bit 'emo'. " Do you often hear people say this these days? "Emo" is short for "emotional (有情绪的)". It means someone has big feelings. Usually, they are bad ones, such as being angry, worried or sad. Everyone has bad feelings from time to time. You may feel sad when you don't do well in your tests. You may feel angry after having a quarrel (争吵) with your friends. Then you may have the emotions. They make you shout or cry. You may not want to eat, speak, learn or play. What should you do? ● Take a deep breath. Keep doing it and you can calm down. ● Do some exercises, such as jumping and running. Sweating (流汗) helps you relax (放松). ● Hug (拥抱) your parents, pets or your teddy bear. They can make you feel safe and relaxed. ● Talk to others about your bad feelings. ·Draw your feelings with colour pens. ● Eat some candies and try to think of happy things. Have a try!
