There were two students, Yang Shi and You Zuo in Song Dynasty（宋朝）. They studied hard and hoped to learn from others. Their teacher was Cheng Yi, a famous scholar（学者）. One day, when they went to visit Cheng Yi, the doorman told them that their teacher was napping inside the room. They didn't disturb（打扰）him. They waited outside the door to show their respect（尊敬）. They waited and then it started to snow heavily. But they kept on standing quietly to wait for him to wake up. When Cheng Yi woke up, they became two"snowmen". Later, people use the idiom（成语）"standing in the snow to wait upon Master Cheng respectfully"to praise the persons who are eager to（渴望）learn and respect their teachers.
