The Great Wall is famous as the eighth wonder of the world. Every year thousands of tourists from all over the world come to visit this place of (兴趣) in China.
Last Saturday, I went to the Great Wall with some of my friends. It was a (多云的) day. On our way up, we saw many (志愿者) standing in the sun. They helped the (年长的) people with their bags, took photos for some tourists and answered people's questions. They were very tired, but they didn't stop to have a (休息). We were moved when we saw this.
Just at that time, we saw a little boy standing (独自) and crying. We went over and asked what happened to him. From his answer we (领会) that he couldn't find his mother. We told him not to worry about it and then we made a (决定) to help him. And many people also (提供) to help. Twenty minutes later, his mother turned up. When she saw his son, she was very glad and thanked us with tears in her eyes.
That day we not only enjoyed (我们), but also felt the warmth of the society (社会). If everyone can give a helping hand to others, the world around us will be more beautiful.
