Jim: So how was your weekend?
Sue: Really nice. On Sunday I went for a picnic with my family.
Jim: I love picnics. By the way, how is your little brother?
Sue: The doctor said that he might need to have an operation.
Jim: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
Sue: But that didn't happen, I'm happy to say. And he's OK now, thanks. But as long as he looks after himself, things should be OK.

Sue: Not yet. But he'll go back as he feels well enough. He really misses his classmates.
