To make money, I was thinking about getting a part—time job. newly—opened store happened to be looking for workers. After answering a few (question), Ibecame a worker at the ice cream store.
This store has a new way of (make) ice cream. While other stores pre—freeze(提前冷冻) their ice cream, we make the ice cream right in front of people using liquid nitrogen(液氮). Liquid nitrogen is —196℃, so it (take) almost all the heat out of liquid cream in just a few seconds. I did not expect(指望) science to change my (day) life so greatly, but I was glad that I got to know this way of food—making. Working at the ice cream store brought about challenges(挑战). To make sure our ice cream is fresher those sold at other stores, we have to act (quick). Also, we have a very big menu. There are over 30 (differ) kinds of ice cream on it. Working there seemed too much for me at first,_ I made it through. Better yet, I became more natural at talking to people. I enjoyed (I) when making small talks with them.
