Last year, our school had a special workshop on body language. It was exciting because few of us knew much about this. In the workshop,Ms. Smith taught us how to use body language.
Ms. Smith told us that body language can sometimes say more than words. She gave us examples, like crossing our arms can mean that we are not interested and smiling can make us look friendly.
During the workshop,we did several fun activities. In one activity,we had to guess how someone was feeling just by looking at their body language. I remember one of my classmates, acted out feeling"anxious". She kept looking down, moving her hands, and didn't look others in the eye. It was clear to all of us that she was anxious without saying a word.
My favourite part was learning about cultural differences (文化差异) in body language. Ms. Smith said that the same body language can have different meanings in different cultures. For example,in some countries, but in others,it means"no". This made us know how important it is to learn about these differences when talking with people from other cultures.
By the end of the workshop,we all felt confident(自信的) about using body language. We also learned that body language can help us build better relationships(关系)
