Hometown in Her Heart
Many students go to work in big cities after finishing university(大学). But 23﹣year﹣old Yu Yanqia is different. She went back to her hometown,a small village in Yunnan(医疗的) worker. In this way,she can help many sick people in her village.
Back in 2007,Yu was only 8 years old. The little girl had to cross the Nujiang river to get to school. There was no bridge over the river. Yu and her classmates had to slide(滑行)on a steel cable(钢索)
One day,someone took a photo of her sliding on the cable. Soon it became popular on the Internet. After learning about her story,many people came to help. They built the first bridge over the Nujiang River. Because of the bridge
"Along the way,I got help from so many people. Their help was like 'lights(灯) in the dark'". Now I want to do the same for the others. "I want to give 'lights' to people in my hometown
