He was supposed to be in one of the two flights that were hijacked and collided with the twin towers on September 11,2009. Since he was hung over, he was given the wrong departure time. Later, he arrived at the airport 10 minutes late and missed his flight. After missing the plane he went to the passenger lounge to rest, upon waking up he witness the horrifying news about the massacre of 9/11. When both planes crashed into the World Trade Center, the airline announced which planes were involved in this horrid event. MacFarlane then realized that he was supposed to be in the second plane.
