People make a small wooden（木制的）box in front of their houses. And then they put old books into it. Anyone can pick some books from the box to read. But you also need to put some in so that other people can pick books they like from it.
American Todd Bol made the first Little Free Library in 2009 in his neighborhood. The little box gives people free books to read and brings neighbors closer. People can be good friends after they exchange（交换）books with each other. Parents and their children really enjoy the time they make things together, and it's also a good time for friends to stay with each other.
