Road Safety and Traffic Rules
We sometimes ride bikes, take the bus, or ride in cars on the road. Roads can be dangerous. Do you know how to stay safe? Follow (遵守) these rules to make yourself and help others stay safe.
Crossing the Road When you cross the road, remember these steps: | Traffic Lights: Look at the traffic lights. ● Red means stop. ● Green means go. ● Yellow means slow down. Zebra Crossing: Always use the zebra crossing. Walking Signal: Cross only when the walking signal is green. Look Both Ways: Look left and right. Check that no cars are coming. |
Riding Bikes When you ride your bike, remember: | Wear a Helmet: Wear a helmet to keep your head safe. Age Rule: Do not ride on the road if you are under 12. |
Riding in a Car When you ride in a car,remember: | Seat Belt: Always wear your seat belt. Stay Inside: Keep your hands and head inside (在…内) the window. |
