It's hard to be energetic in your daily activities when worries are controlling your thoughts and influencing your work, school, or your home life. In fact, trying to do so often makes your worries stronger.
But that doesn't mean there's nothing you can do to control worries. Rather than trying to stop an anxious thought, the following are what you can do to help: allow yourself to have it, let it out, and get physically active.
Create a worry period. Choose a set time and place for worrying. It should be the same every day and early enough that it won't make you anxious right before bedtime. During your worry period, you're allowed to worry about whatever is on your mind. .
If an anxious thought comes into your head during the day, make a brief note of it.Taking it down is like saying it out, which helps you to reduce worries. Also, writing down your thoughts is much harder work than simply thinking them,so your worries are more likely to lose their power.
Get up and get moving. Exercise is a natural and effective treatment against anxiety because it helps relieve stress, promote energy,and improve your sense of well-being (幸福).Even more importantly,by really focusing on how your body feels as you move,you can stop worries running through your head. .
