One day, a little boy and a little girl were playing together. The boy showed the girl his beautiful marbles(弹珠). In return, the girl showed the boy a handful of candy.
The boy said that they could exchange(交换) their things—he would give her all of his marbles if she handed over all of her candy. Seeing the shiny marbles in the sunlight, the girl agreed.

That night, the girl went to bed with a big smile and had sweet dreams. She felt really happy about the exchange. However, the boy couldn't sleep. He kept worrying about whether the girl would find his secret marble.
The next morning, the boy got up early. He went to visit the girl and told her the truth that he still kept the most beautiful marble. The girl smiled and showed her understanding.Finally, they spent the rest of the day playing marbles and eating the candy together. Their friendship grew stronger than ever. They knew that being honest and trusting each other matter more than anything you might have.
