David Miller is forty years old and he is a doctor.Every morning，he gets up early，and then goes to work by car.He must begin to work at 8：30 a.m.from Monday to Friday.
David is a very careful（仔细的） man.He always checks his car before he drives.He follows the rules on the street.But today David got a ticket for speeding（超速罚单）.He got up late this morning because his clock didn't work.It was eight o'clock when he got up.His home is very far from the hospital.It takes him an hour to go there by car.He had to drive very fast，so he got the ticket from a policeman and he was also late for work.When he got to the hospital（管理者） asked him not to do that next time.
It's not a good day for David.In the evening，he bought a new clock and went to bed early.He doesn't want to be late for work any more.
