Jennifer is a third-grade teacher in Texas,USA.She lives in a beautiful neighborhood. However,the area is a little far away from the nearest library.Actually,the library is over 80 km away.So,Jennifer came up with a great idea to make it easier for kids to get books than before.She set up a small library of her own in her garage(车库)
Jennifer has a love for reading and libraries.In the psst years,she has traveled to several different countries to learn more about what she can do for her neighborhood、She found out that libraries provide an easy way for children to get excited about reading.
"It is very important to help kids find joy in reading,"she explained.
Jennifer used her own books to set up her garage library.Also,she got books from friends and strangers(陌生人)To introduce more good books to the kids,she also bought many books from bookstores and schools.The books in this library are all classics by famous writers,
Jennifer's library is open from 2:30 p.m.to 4p.m.on weekdays and itom9a.m.to8p.m. on Saturdays.Kids borrow two books at a time.The little library is a big success and it has made a difference to many kids in the neighbourhood.
